A cordless robotic cleaner is more of a novelty in most cases but the Volt 550Li is an exception because of the robust run time. It has two huge lithium-ion batteries which give it great power and run time. Part of the reason the price point is so high is that these batteries are very expensive. Think of your cell phone battery on super steroids and you get the idea of the size that these batteries need to be to power this cleaner and give it the ability to pump over 7,200 gallons of water every hour.

I would say that if you are looking for a cordless robotic pool cleaner this is one to really look into.
